Privacy Policy

High Noon ("the game", "we") is a 1v1 cowboy duel game available as a web app and as a mobile app for iOS and Android. This policy describes what data the game collects, why, and what control you have over it. It applies to both the web and mobile versions.
Data we collect
- Account identity. You sign in with Google or (on iOS) Apple. We receive and store the name and email address your identity provider shares. With Apple's "Hide My Email" you may share a private relay address instead of your real one — that works fine.
- Game profile and gameplay data. Your chosen username, battle tag, level, experience, in-game currencies, inventory, match history, rank and season statistics, achievements, bounty progress, and friend list.
- Online presence. Whether you are currently online, in the lobby, or in a duel — shown to other players (e.g. in the lobby carousel and friend list).
- Device motion (gyroscope). The mobile app uses the gyroscope to aim during duels. Motion data is processed on your device only and is never transmitted or stored.
- Player reports and blocks. If you report or block another player, we store the report (who reported whom, the reason, and an optional note) or your block list, to moderate the game and keep abusive players away from you.
- Bug reports (mobile app). If you send a bug report, we store what you write, the category, your player ID, username and BattleTag, the app version, device model, OS version and language, the screen or duel concerned, and the app session ID (to match the report with the analytics events below). We use it only to fix the game and, during the beta, to award bug-bounty rewards. A short notice without your name or your text (report number, category, app version, device model) is posted in our team's private Discord channel. Bug reports are deleted with your account, and at the latest 12 months after the game's official launch.
Diagnostics & analytics
- Crash reports (mobile app). If the app crashes, a technical report (stack trace, device model, OS version, app version, the screens visited before the crash, and your player ID so we can help with support requests) is sent to Sentry, our crash-reporting processor. No advertising identifiers are collected.
- Gameplay analytics (mobile app). We log product events first-party into our own database (screens visited, sign-in method, match funnel and duel statistics such as draw time and accuracy, device model and OS version) to improve the game and tune fair-play protections. This data is never shared with third parties.
What we do NOT do
- No advertising, and no advertising or tracking SDKs.
- No sale or sharing of your personal data with third parties.
- No behavioral profiling outside the game itself.
Where your data lives
Game data is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Realtime Database), hosted in the europe-west1 region. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
Purchases
On the web, optional purchases are processed by Stripe; we store a record of the transaction (not your card details). In the mobile app, the Frontier Pass is sold through the App Store or Google Play, which process the payment. Our purchase-validation provider RevenueCat receives the purchase record (product, transaction ID, date, store) linked to your player ID, so the pass can be unlocked on your account and restored on a new device. We never receive your payment details.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, match history, inventory, friends, presence data, and sign-in record. Some non-personal records are retained where required (payment records for legal/accounting purposes, and anonymized anti-cheat audit entries).
No longer have the app? See how to request deletion without the app.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
